Innards

Innards is a new video sculpture installation by Haraldur Karlsson, rooted from his previous works, embedding essence from MRI scans of a human body.

It reveals a world from under the human skin like an ocean under the surface. Investigating spaces and no-spaces governed by the choice of thickness visibility from the MRIs.

With a triple projection on sculptural surfaces the idea of a three-dimensional world converted to a two-dimensional world is again joined in a constructed dimension. Choreographed movements of light and reflections in added and altered dimensions connects to an existing awareness of innards dimensions.
